Vietnamese Student Association

We were contacted by a student organization at Boise State known as the Vietnamese Student Association. A link to their facebook group can be found here. Here is a proof of the shirt they plan on having printed. It should be some fun because we plan on adding specialty ink distressing to the design. The custom - silk screening will also be positioned on the side of the shirt. If you want a quick quote on custom printing or want to meet us (we're located in Boise, Idaho) click here.

Large Format Sublimation Printing

Here is an awesome video we ran across dealing with large format sublimation printing. It's something we hope to add to the shop soon. We need to first find out what type of drum based heating press is being used to transfer the image to the t-shirt. This process is known as sublimation printing and can only be done on shirts with a high polyester content. The lowest polyester content that should be used with sublimation printing is a 60/40 blend, so the majority should be polyester. The advantages of sublimation is the one-at-a-time type of process it involves. Also, it can have a very soft "hand," meaning the print isn't bulky. In fact, you can barely feel a sublimation print. Depending on the shirt type, sublimation inks, heating consistency, etc. you will come out with a vibrant or not so vibrant image. Cool video though!
Custom Silk Screen Printing Supplies

We get our supplies from all over the U.S. from different suppliers and vendors. However, there is one supplier we refuse to use... Pocono Screens. We recently ordered some jumbo screens and it took them 4 months to get here! 4 MONTHS! So, if you happen to stumble across this blog and you are looking for screen printing supplies, don't go to Pocono Screens, they take forever and are very unresponsive to e-mails.

So we just implemented a new system for Newfire Creations (the parent company to Fastshion) that will allow clients and customers to track and view progress of orders, make comments, check screenprinting milestones and much more! This is an exciting piece of software and allows customers to login using any web browser. Using this new system, we should be able to offer better custom silk screen printing services to those in Boise as well as all over the nation! We're really excited if you can't tell. As our efficiency increases, we all save costs and turn-around times for your printed garments improve! We also hope to continually update this news with different upgrades to our facilities and production capacities. We are currently in need of an additional screen printing press so keep your eyes pealed for us.

The application will feature an opportunity to edit the pictures made by the smart phone and the ones, downloaded to Photoshop.com web photo hosting and sharing resource. Moreover, this application will allow users to easily download the pictures made with iPhone to this media library.
Free Photoshop version, created specially for Apple iPhones, unlike a full PC version, has only basic options and functionality, allowing users to rotate and crop the image, change the colors or apply several simple filters to the pictures. All the changes can be undone.
A good thing about this new Photoshop version is that it’s free of charge. The online photo hosting service at Photoshop.com is also free, as long as the users need no more than 2 GB for storing their images. In order to place more information they will have to pay the annual membership fee.
